Northside Family Law Centre continues to support, sponsor, and partner with, many of our local community sporting clubs, schools, organisations, events on the bayside, community centers, including some of the most important community messages regarding domestic violence and support for those in need.
Northside Family Law Centre cares about our community and we aim to build a brighter future for the people around us.
Our Lawyers also provide complementary information seminars throughout the year in order to give individuals the information they need before proceeding with our services. This allows our community to keep up to date with laws affecting them.

Local Community
Brighton Bulldogs FC
In April 2014 the directors of Northside Family Law became aware the Brighton Bulldogs Soccer Club needed funds to replace its Team Jerseys for all the Years and Grades. Northside Family Law was one of the first sponsors on board and was able to assist with Sponsoring 4 teams across 2 age groups. The new Jerseys arrived after June and look great!
Northside Family Law Centre continued their support through the senior men's team in 2016/17, throughout 2018, and are looking forward to again assisting this year.

SAndgate Sunset Run
Northside Family Law Centre have been involved with the Sandgate Sunset Run since its inception and are so proud to again be involved as a major Sponsor for the Sandgate Sunset Run in 2018. The 2018 showcase event will be the Northside Family Law Open Relay.Sandgate Sunset Run is a great community event with 4 separate races for all ages and abilities. Brighton Roosters JRL
So often we hear about clubs reaching out for financial support.The Brighton Roosters JRL was no different as we saw the callout over Facebook. Northside Family Law Centre Directors reached out to the club to see how we could help and are now a significant sponsor for the 2018 50th year celebration of the club and lookig forward to continuing our support into the future.
Sandbag Community Centre
SANDBAG is an independent community based organisation that runs 5 major programs in the Sandgate and Bracken Ridge Communities. Northside Family Law Centre have been able to assist this dedicated organisation in many ways behind the scenes.
SANDGATE CINEMA CLUB
In its heyday, the Sandgate area has seen 10 cinemas come and go. Some lost to fire, others financial ruin, and at least one to a king tide and chairs that didn’t float. The last closed in the 1980s – which sent local cinema into a 30-year hibernation. Fortunately, a resurgence in pop-up screenings and the occasional cinema in the park, all of which has helped build the momentum behind the Sandgate Cinema Club.

Einbunpin Festival
Since 1992, the Einbunpin Festival is a celebration by and for the community about those things that make the Sandgate district special – the village atmosphere, the environment and the diverse talents and cultures that make up the community.Northside Family Law Centre continue to be supportive of our local festival and are again a major sponsor for 2018.

Australia Day By The Bay
Bring your Brisbane Kids along to Sandgate Town Hall to celebrate Australia day with a full day of activities for the community, staring with a citizenship ceremony in the Sandgate Town Hall at 10.30AM. There will be performances by local artists including Blake Hadley Music and the Bayside Divas and a Welcome to Country by Uncle Des Sandy.This will be followed by a FREE BBQ and band at Upper Moora Park with a visit from Peebo & Dagwood the clowns, a jumping castle and face painting for the kids.To finish the day, the world-famous Cotton Street billy cart races will start at 3.00PM
Bluewater Festival
What an exciting year it was when Northside Family Law Centre sponsored the firework display for the Blue Water Festival.
The Bluewater Festival attracts thousands of visitors to the Shorncliffe Pier as well as Upper and Lower Moora Park. On Good Friday of each year the Bluewater Festival provides an opportunity for people both inside and outside of the local area to take advantage of the best waterfront views for the start of Australia’s second biggest yacht race ‘The Brisbane to Gladstone’

PLT Placements
Legal Graduates wishing to be admitted must also undertake additional legal training by completing a practical legal training (PLT) course, or serving as a supervised trainee.
Northside Family Law Centre prides itself on providing multiple students each year from various universities the opportunity to complete their placement training with our Firm.
This is great way to support and give back to the legal institution by providing a great real-life experience to our future lawyers. Over the years a number of our PLT students have been welcomed as full-time lawyers to our team once they have graduated.
